Data we currently collect

The site, in its current version, doesn't require login and doesn't collect personal data that identifies you by name. The "Favorites" feature is saved only inside your browser (using localStorage) and is never sent to any server or third party.

We use Google Analytics to see general visit statistics (number of visitors, most-visited pages) to improve the site — this data is aggregated and not tied to your personal identity.

Notifications (optional)

If you enable the "Notify me daily" button on the homepage, we only store the technical subscription data (a device-specific link generated by your browser) on our own server that we manage ourselves — with no third party seeing this data or sitting in the notification's path. We use it only to send one daily notification with "today's pick." You can turn it off anytime with a single button click from the same place, and we delete your subscription data immediately.

Abuse prevention

To stop automated scripts from faking the like counter, our own server stores a hashed fingerprint of the network address when you press the like button only — we never store the IP address itself, the hash cannot be reversed, and it is deleted automatically within two minutes. It is used for one purpose only: checking whether the same device has hit a per-minute limit on likes.

Cookies and ads

Google may use cookies to show relevant ads based on your visits to this site and other sites, and to measure visits via Google Analytics. You can control these ads through Google Ads Settings.

The site contains links to external sites (tools, restaurants, stores, social media accounts). We're not responsible for the privacy policies or content on those sites. Some of these links (such as the Casa Souq link) are affiliate links — we may earn a small commission if you purchase through them, at no extra cost to you, and this is also noted next to the link itself.
