About Tubli Bay Walkway is a public coastal promenade stretching about 400 meters along the waterfront, at the eastern edge of the Tubli area on the shores of Tubli Bay. The main character of the place is its open sea view, with the buildings of the Al Muharraq area and Nabih Saleh Island visible on the horizon across the bay — a very beautiful sight, especially at dawn and sunrise. The right side of the walkway is known for seabirds, most notably gulls, and occasionally flamingos, as well as the western reef heron (in its dark gray form), with its long neck and legs, standing alone in the shallow water searching for food.
Tips
- The best time to visit is at dawn or sunrise, to enjoy the walkway's most beautiful views and the bay's scenery.
- A public restroom is available at the walkway, but it's in poor condition — worth keeping in mind before visiting.
- If you enjoy birdwatching, keep an eye on the right side of the walkway, where gulls gather, and occasionally flamingos and the western reef heron.
- It's recommended to bring water, and you can exercise while you're there.
